Infrastructure Ontario's Transaction Services and Corporate Legal division provides professional support to all parts of the organization through the services it provides, including the provision of legal and financial advice. The team supports infrastructure and commercial projects, real estate and leasing, lending, privacy, government affairs, litigation, construction, and contract management.
As part of our Transaction Services and Corporate Legal team, you will have an opportunity to contribute towards Ontario's most important and complex projects, including major infrastructure projects and other government initiatives leveraging private sector partnerships.

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Vice President and corresponding real estate, litigation and contract management team. The assistant will handle meeting coordination and management of committee meeting minutes; office organization; document preparation (including Excel and PowerPoint); file allocation management; accounts and invoice management; document management and record keeping; on-boarding and off-boarding employees; and calendar management. They will also help out with general tasks and assignments.
To succeed in this role, the Administrative Assistant should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in an administrative position supporting executives or lawyers and their teams as well as a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a legal firm/department/office as a Legal or Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant should also have experience working with a diverse portfolio of functions in a corporate setting. The following would be considered an asset: (a) previous experience working with several lawyers and/or a real estate team; and/or (b) knowledge of government structure, processes and operations.
The Administrative Assistant is required to have:
exceptional time management, organization, and prioritization skills;
he ability to work efficiently with limited guidance and formal structures in a complex, fast-paced environment;
a high level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information;
the ability to synthesize and present information in a clear and concise manner, coupled by strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation/negotiation skills with the ability to influence others;
ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
excellent written communication skills;
- the ability to take initiative and seek out opportunities to support the team; and
a high proficiency working with Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
