Earls Kitchen + Bar is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Procurement + Supply Chain team. In this role, you will focus on US Operations and be responsible for the logistics and inventory management of all products procured by our Purchasers to ensure items arrive on-time, correctly, and in fully usable condition to all restaurants. You will also be responsible for the coordination and execution of all our menus, and cost mitigation through the management of dead stock and contract compliance.

Please note: This role is open to individuals based in Vancouver, or as a remote opportunity in Canada and the US.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee US Supply Chain and inventory through our Distributors to eliminate delivery issues and stock outs
• Manage item compliance and dead stock to ensure costs are managed and contract terms are followed
• Regularly look for opportunities to streamline and execute the menu roll-out process for efficient rollouts and mitigating deadstock and waste
• Manage new menu Rollouts and features by holding purchasers accountable for their products and orchestrating details between: Product Development, Procurement and Supply Chain and Distributors
• Liaise with operations on matters related to product shortages, distribution issues and menu rollout execution
• Foster and maintain relationships with distributors and direct vendors
• Manage an approved list of products through the maintenance of distributor order guides

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-5 years experience in a Procurement and Supply Chain field in the hospitality industry
• A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration is an asset
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with identifying and implementing supply chain cost mitigation and savings opportunities
• Experience working with US operations is a strong asset
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office and Google programs
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
