Something very exciting is underway in Goshen, New York. Due to open in 2020, LEGOLAND Park and Hotel in New York is Merlin’s biggest single investment to date and you could play a crucial part in this amazing project!
We’re now looking for a unique person who has a passion for ensuring accuracy of financial records, is a great multitasker and has excellent time management skills. You will contribute to Delivering the Magic as we bring the world’s ninth LEGOLAND Park to life brick by brick and turn it into a bricktastic place filled with smiles.
About the role:
The Accounting Assistant will support the Finance department in key tasks such as:
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other closely related fields (or equivalent education and experience) is required for this role. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel Spreadsheets. You must be able to produce reports and reconciliations and have familiarity with basic Accounting principles.
The ideal candidate is the one who possesses strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills; with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial managers. Also, must possess meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product, exceptional time management skills, professional manner and strong ethical code.
