Job Title: Aerospace Product Engineer

Work in all aspects of new product development for release of monolithic ICs and micro-modules into the Aerospace market. This will include products for full RAD Hard and Commercial Space applications. Work across multiple product types - power ICs and micro-modules, mixed signal, signal conditioning, and standard linear. Utilise various semiconductor manufacturing processes - Bipolar, CMOS, BiCMOS etc. WIll be expected to either know or develop knowledge of Mil specifications as well as radiation hardening techniques in Semiconductor Fabrication.
Will work with Marketing and Management to define priorities, and liase with Design, Applications, Test Engineering, Wafer Fabs and Assembly, interface with customers, as well as supporting Production and QA as required.
Required to have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent discipline, and a minimum of 5 years experience in new product development. Detailed understanding of product characterisation, failure debug techniques, data analysis, applications, ATE test techniques, burn-in requirements, IC assembly, and test and debug of semiconductor products at wafer and package-levels, as well as a sound understanding of semiconductor fabrication. A basic understanding of radiation effects - TID, HDR, ELDRS, SEE - is desired but not required.
