Central Market Digital Content Administrator

Job Summary and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for building, proofing, testing and publishing content of H-E-B websites and email programs

  • Works with ATG Content Management to build, maintain and publish pages on H-E-B's websites

  • Coordinates with the Online Graphic Designer and Content Editors to ensure content updates are consistent with the style guide and delivered on time

  • Tags all website pages with appropriate metatags to ensure search engine optimization

  • Builds best-in-class HTML email code that maintains high standards of deliverability

  • Manages the Testing/QA process of assigned email programs

  • Test functionality of enhancements and defect fixes regarding enhancements

  • Create, test and route coupons through approval process
Experience and Education preferred:
  • Bachelors degree in Journalism, English, Communication, or Business or related field or comparable experience

  • 2 years experience

  • Working knowledge and experience with content management systems (CMS)

  • Experience working with an Email Service Provider (ESP), developing and deploying emails

  • Knowledge of online and email marketing methods

  • Proficient in Adobe CS4 and HTML

  • Understanding of designing to accessibility and usability standards

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong time and project management skills
