Job Description:Serve as Higher Ed team member working with states, collaborating organizations and institutions of higher education to improve success for students in entry-level college math through Dana Center Mathematics Pathways and related Center initiatives. Focus is to support work across state and regional systems through development and delivery of tools, resources and services.

This position may be remote and will be determined by the Dana Center at the time of hiring offer. The position will require travel.Responsibilities
Develop tools and resources to support math faculty, administrators and policymakers to implement math pathways based on input from team members, consultants and clients. Collaborate with technical support personnel on updates of an online portal that will serve as a primary delivery system for the tools and resources.
Coordinate and support technical assistance to state-, region-, and system-level teams. Manage, support, track activities, and document consultants working on state-, region- and system-level activities. Provide direct technical assistance to teams. Identify key issues and report to team leadership.
Support development of materials for trainings and convenings. Help plan and facilitate such events.
Manage timelines across strands of work, which includes coordination across the team and with service providers, and ensure deadlines are met.
Participate in processes and activities designed to establish an organizational culture that supports learning, collaboration, and collective responsibility in order to enhance professional relationships, job satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness.
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education or related field. and four years of related experience, or bachelor’s degree and seven years of related experience. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Knowledge of structures and courses in mathematics. Knowledge of higher education systems. Experience working with higher education math faculty, student services and administrators. Experience leading and developing workshops for math faculty, departmental chairs and administrators for structural system change. Experience working on a complex project or initiative with multiple strands of work and competing deadlines, coordinating with multiple people. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree. Experience working with college math faculty, teaching math, working directly with first-year college students. Demonstrated leadership skills as a department chair or leading a project of change effort. Experience using social media to communicate about and support work. Experience developing online and digital resources. Experience working on projects serving underserved communities, or projects in service of addressing defined barriers to equity or opportunity gaps.Salary Range
$75,000 + depending on qualificationsWorking Conditions
