Summer intern will support one or more experienced engineers in performing assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of engineering.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Engineering Intern position offers a variety of opportunities including basic engineering tasks related to design, analysis, test, integration and systems engineering. Opportunities can vary from performing analysis as well as assisting in the design and development of existing products.
Intern must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field of study.
Intern must be able to speak and write proficiently in the English language.
Intern should be approaching the junior or senior year in pursuit of a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an appropriate Engineering Technology degree.
The student should have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The student should have experience working a hands-on project in the chosen field of study.
The student should have a high interest in aircraft and understand the basics of powered flight.
The student should be able to commit to 40 hours of work per week for the duration of the internship, which will last approximately 12 weeks.
