Liberty Healthcare seeks individuals who have a bachelor's degree in a health or human services related field.

Liberty Healthcare is opening a new 24-bed intermediate care facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This facility will provide specialized residential treatment services for children and adolescents who have an intellectual disability and significant behavioral support needs or a co-occurring mental illness.

To provide vital care and support to clients of this new facility, Liberty is now hiring for multiple newly-created full-time “Human Services Treatment Specialist” positions.

Human Services Treatment Specialists serve as integral members of the program’s interdisciplinary treatment team, and are responsible for the following:

  • Developing and implementing programs to help clients meet their goals
  • Assessing and monitoring client behaviors through first-hand observation
  • Teaching and Instructing staff and clients
  • Providing training and instruction to direct care staff
  • Collaborating with licensed clinicians and ancillary professionals
  • Actively contributing in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Providing direct services and face-to-face care to children and adolescents
  • Ensuring clients are very well cared for and safe at all times
  • Providing appropriate interventions as necessary, when clients are at risk
  • Assisting clients with their activities of daily living – and helping them build related skills
  • Helping to clients to build pro-social skills, which will foster their independence and good health
  • Successfully completing Certified Nurse Aide and Certified Medication Aide training programs, which will be provided by Liberty

This position offers $22.07 per hour (approximately $45,900) annually. All full-time Liberty employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. Liberty’s employees accrue 240 hours (30 days) of paid time off annually for holidays, vacation, personal and sick leave. Well-qualified candidates for this position will possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Special Education - or other health or human services field
  • Professional experience providing health care or human services to individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Caring and compassionate attitude towards serving people who have disabilities
  • Willingness and ability to commit to work a variable schedule which will include both weekdays as well as Saturdays and Sundays on a rotational basis
  • Willingness to submit to a comprehensive background check process
  • Willingness and ability to commence employment and orientation on February 1st
