Gateway Ventures (www.gatewayventuresre.com) and its partner, Atlantic Capital Properties (http://www.atlanticcapitalproperties.com), are commercial real estate development firms. Principals Mack Reese and Jim Meyer are seeking an experienced individual to join the team and support the development efforts for 4 large commercial projects located in Atlanta GA, Charleston SC, and Gainesville FL.

The right candidate is motivated and organized self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple assignments from multiple team members. Typical hours are 9a-6p Monday to Friday however some emails, phone calls, and additional work may be required evenings and weekends to support the company. The base salary range is subject to experience, and the position is eligible for an annual bonus.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience; commercial real estate strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with real estate contracts, leases, and legal notices
  • Paralegal studies; notary public certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Office 365
  • Ability to setup and manage cloud based solutions for the office such as dropbox
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of organization and the ability to work on multiple, diverse projects simultaneously for multiple individuals

Job Description:

  • Prepare, revise, and transmit Letters of Intent to prospective tenants
  • Orchestrate requests for qualifications and requests for proposals
  • Send legal notices to tenants, vendors, and partners as required
  • Interact with city, county, and state agencies to file/record relevant documents
  • Coordinate with partners, lenders, and vendors at direction of Principals
  • Review and file drafts of leases, agreements, etc. that pertain to the projects
  • Assist with accounting work to track projects, invoices, pay apps and budgets
  • Assist with planning events in conjunction with 3rd party marketing and PR
  • Perform research as necessary to support sales, marketing or new business
  • Coordinate onboarding/HR activities as needed for new consultants/employees
  • Manage corporate calendars, file repository, and serve as liaison to IT vendor to assure team is functioning as efficiently as possible
  • Own calendar of important dates as it relates to lease notices and deadlines
  • Assist with travels arrangements and other administrative needs of the Principals
  • Greet visitors; order supplies for office; handing incoming/outgoing mail
  • Run occasionally errands as needed to support the company

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
