Serve as a marketing coordinator to continue guide brand direction and expand impact of OnRamps.

Job Details:

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant. Define strategies to drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from each initiative's social network presence.
  • Build and/or contribute to development of marketing materials, including, collateral, one-pagers for varying audience groups (policymakers, educators, employers), meeting and conference presentations, and website content and imagery.
  • Responsible for helping to define marketing goals, objectives and strategy for Texas OnRamps that is aligned to programs communication strategy and strategic goals.
  • Coordinate activities with local industry, promotional sponsers, and community based organizations to accomplish marketing objectives that foster community relations.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to make recommendations for OnRamps initiatives. Track, measure, and analyze all programmatic functions to highlight Return on Investment (ROI) and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide sustained contributions to ongoing initiatives, as well as just-in-time assistance with seasonal, unexpected, and urgent projects.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. Three years of experience in promotions, marketing or related field. Experience defining and driving a marketing agenda for a startup or early-stage initiative. Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt writing style to different audience groups including: policy makers, executive level professionals, district administrators, educators, students and families. Experience leveraging social media to benefit or an organization and/or initiative. Maturity, integrity, discretion, positive attitude and grace under pressure.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in public relations, marketing, advertising or related field. Five or more years of experience providing marketing, public relations, and social media support to an organization. Experience working in college access and success.

Salary Range

$55,000 + depending on qualifications
