What You Will Do
As a Technical Engineering Analyst with Ascension Technologies, you will have the opportunity to provide technical expertise in one or more information technology disciplines to support the organization's technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities: Responds to user problems by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively. Troubleshoots most application problems independently. Possesses and applies working knowledge of at least one technology environment to address and resolve problems. Analyzes a chain of events and applies technical knowledge following established procedures and/or detailed specifications. Writes fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner and according to standards. Shares knowledge effectively within the work team.
What You Will Need
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Work Experience: Two years of experience preferred.
Preferred Experience/Skills: Must be detail oriented. For example, when pulling critical supportive documents, bill copies must be correct date. Must maintain organized forms - filing of forms for accuracy and mindful of deadlines, annotating bill copies for USAC needs, etc. Able to interact with other staff and service providers to obtain information for circuit IDs, bill copies and contracts needed to support eligibility. Past experience where these skills are used: clerical, finance, accounting, telecom or data services. This would supplement filing documents correctly and understanding bill copies and terminology, reconciling accounts to watch for approved credits, etc.
