Are you a driven individual intrigued by music, branding and visual communication? Can you juggle many balls and work under pressure with a smile?

We have a great opportunity for a Client Account Executive working for our client, a creative audio-visual agency on the outskirts of Hertford. This role is suited to someone with business to business customer services experience, with a professional attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships. This role is in a rural location so you must be able to drive.

You would be working closely with high calibre people including Managing Director, Account Director, Music Consultancy, Creative Production and Technology as well as the Account Management team as they assist clients on their transition and use of music and video communication within branded retail environments.

This challenging and varied position will suit a driven individual who is naturally intrigued by music, branding and visual communication. Unphased by the prospect of working with tech, you need to be both down to earth but also very capable of grappling with big ideas.


You will be working alongside account managers in handling existing accounts and managing your own accounts.

Support managing the on-going development and day-to-day running of existing accounts:

  • Deal with client communication in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Make sure we understand and meet client requests
  • Play a key role in status meetings and calls with clients, and subsequent actions
  • Attend site visits, service reviews, project meetings and events where required
  • develop and nurture key relationships within client accounts to increase retention and account value


  • Manage hardware and software installation and roll-out process to our global clients
  • Use CMS systems to set up new video content schedules for our 4 clients
  • Work with our technical department to develop and implement new software and functionality for our clients media players
  • Assist with the management of internal R&D projects
  • Liaise with our clients third party partners for IT, Audio Visual Installations, etc.
  • Work in partnership with our internal helpdesk and programming departments to provide technical great support and management to our clients

Administration support:

  • Prepare client-facing quotes/proposals/presentations, draft contracts
  • Prepare hardware systems orders
  • Provide reports to clients for various purposes (e.g. system audits, content schedules)
  • Prepare client-facing documents (covering technical support, installation instructions, guidelines on music for client staff)
  • Maintain our databases
  • Liaise with and brief technical operations department re marketing scheduling, and network distribution
  • Assist in managing our studio schedule
  • Be responsible for the set up and management of the client marketing portal

Adhoc Creative projects:

  • Participate in creative concept development and planning meetings
  • Obtain artwork files from external creative agencies
  • Develop studio briefs with assistance of the account manager
  • Co-ordinate resource for creative and production work (e.g. researchers, copy writers, designers, voice over artists, film crews, model agencies)
  • Support with production of in-house marketing assets where required including brochures, case studies, website content, social media

Your Talents:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong client facing capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work with people of varying seniority and skillset
  • Solid project coordination skills, able to juggle many balls - a natural multitasker
  • Curious, inquisitive and a natural problem solver - views challenges as an opportunity for positive resolution
  • Attention to detail second to none - serial numbers, software versions, model numbers must be absolutely spot on
  • Comfortable and happy to work with tech - must be interested in how it works and how we support it (even if not a pure techy!)
  • Strong sense of business acumen
  • Appreciation of branding and marketing principles
  • Awareness of current youth brands, culture and lifestyle
  • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint literate
  • Microsoft Dynamics Experience an advantage
  • Educated to degree level
  • Be able to smile when the pressure is on


  • Hours are Monday to Friday to 5.30pm.
