My client, a college in North London, are seeking a dedicated Admissions Assistant to join their team. The role involves providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the admissions process in line with the College’s policies. This is a temporary position ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills and a passion for education.
Day to Day of the role:
- Provide accurate information on College programmes, modules, and the application process to prospective students.
- Assist with various aspects of the admissions process, including handling application forms, requesting references, and drafting correspondence.
- Enter applicant details onto the EBS system, ensuring data is managed accurately and systematically.
- Help organise Open Mornings and Interview Days, including processing bookings, preparing materials, and interacting with visitors.
- Perform additional duties consistent with the role, as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High level of attention to detail and systematic data management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Teamwork capabilities and excellent time management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, familiarity with Gmail, and database experience.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Alignment with the aims and ethos of the College.
