Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Position: Full time, Part Time, Temporary

Location: Leeds

Salary: Approx. £11.68 per hour including holiday pay

We are looking for a learning support assistant as our Yorkshire and North East Further Education team are working in partnership with some of the most well renowned education providers in the Leeds area. We have new vacancies available daily, both temporary and permanent.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience working within an education setting providing educational and pastoral support to students who have a range of complex learning and physical disabilities and mental health needs.
• Previous experience working with students who have academic health care plans.
• Previous knowledge of special educational needs i.e., ADHD, Autism.
• Ability to engage students in their lessons and promote independence.
• Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.
• DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply and pay for one.
