Based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, my client specialises in the production of ophthalmic surgical equipment.  A world-renowned specialist in the field of micro-surgery, they are looking for a Product Manager to join their team and be the link between their R&D department and market place.

Operating in over 90 countries world-wide, they manufacture over 3,000 specialist ophthalmic products.

Product Manager Position

This fantastic opportunity is centred on developing and implementing marketing strategies and tactics successfully, using a thorough understanding of the local market and the product offerings within micro optical surgery. Working with the R&D team, you will be responsible for the full product lifecycle strategy in line with key business objectives and industry trends. Other responsibilities include:

• Product Launch, Pricing, market Research
• Development of product and scientific marketing materials
• Liaising with KOL’s for scientific marketing
• Manage and monitor the life cycle of the product portfolio
• Planning and implementing external events
• Ensure flow of documentation relating to QM

Product Manager Position

• Proven at least 3 years of experience in marketing in the Healthcare industry
• Proven experience in Product Launches and Campaigns
• Sales Support
• Product Trials
• Price Setting
• Strong understanding of the European Healthcare market
• Scientific, engineering or medical technology degree or equivalent vocational experience
• Fluent German and English – ideally native German speaker and professional English and another European language
• Willingness to travel (when able)
• Excellent presentation skills
