A pan-European real estate investment manager is recruiting a Senior Group Accountant.
The Group Finance team is responsible for 100+ corporate entities and provides consolidated financial reporting and other information to its shareholders and internal management on a monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc basis.
- Responsibility for the oversight of corporate finance including entity-level board reporting, transfer pricing, treasury management and company secretarial services
- Deliver key consolidated Group reports to senior management, including management accounts, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
- Prepare detailed variance analysis and reporting for year-to-date results vs. forecasts
- Provide accurate and timely reporting and other ad-hoc information to shareholders and other key stakeholders within the business
- Improve the quality of corporate reporting from the local subsidiaries
- Collaborate with local subsidiaries on queries relating to financial reporting, forecasting, IFRS and system-related issues
- Manage and update the Group Finance policies and procedures
- Assist the Group Financial Controller on any adhoc projects and take responsibility for specific projects as and when necessary
- Assist in all other aspects of the Group Finance function where applicable.
To successfully apply for this Senior Group Accountant opportunity:
- Fully qualified accountant through ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience working in corporate finance, management accounting and/or financial management
- IFRS and UK GAAP accounting skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently on specific projects, pick things up quickly and use initiative
- Time management skills - ability to work to deadlines under pressure
