You will be based in the Worthing office with an expectation of a 50/50 office and homeworking spilt.As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Leading project teams using both waterfall, hybrid, and LEAN/Agile development methodologies.
  • Managing project constraints of scope, time, cost, and quality.
  • Working with Portfolio and R&D Development Leaders to clearly define and interpret the requirements of the project with particular focus on the customers' needs.
  • Working with Product Management and R&D Development Leaders to identify potential solutions and build executable project plans.
  • Developing project estimates for time and cost.
  • Identifying, mitigating, and communicating project risk.
  • Pro-actively reviewing project progress, anticipation of potential problems leading to proposals for alternative actions to ensure the project remains on plan.
  • Monitoring and reporting of the status of the project.
  • Ensuring the team have the skills required to deliver the projects and working with resource managers to assist in specifying skills improvements in the department.
  • Coordinating resources allocated to the project from outside the core R&D team (E.G. Purchasing, Production and Test Engineering) to ensure that a complete package is delivered to the company's sales channels.
  • Evolving the company's current working practices to improve quality and time to market,?providing coaching to other team members and employees as appropriate.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for:
