We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a company as the Registered Head of Care for a new service in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
Role Overview:
As the Registered Head of Care, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment and management of the new service. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each child. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the care team to provide exceptional support to children with complex needs and learning disabilities.
· Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring individualised care and support.
· Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and independence of each child.
· Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting continuous professional development and a culture of excellence.
· Establish effective communication channels with families, guardians, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
· Level 5 Diploma in children and young people, or equivalent
· Proven experience in managing care services for children with complex needs and learning disabilities.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
· Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
