Location : Rochdale

Salary : £30,000 - £35,000

We are currently working with a client based in Rochdale who specialize in manufacturing. They have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join their team.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility with a requirement to travel down South twice a month.

Key Duties:

Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Working with recruiters and managing the recruitment process from start to finish
  • Ensuring the complete on-boarding of new employees, including payroll setup, training coordination, DBS checks, etc.
  • Responsible for learning and development of staff including monitoring the progress of apprentices, identify training needs/coordinating training arrangements
  • Assist in scheduling health checks for at-risk department staff, follow up on issues with pre-employment questionnaires, and support other Occupational Health policy duties
  • Manage UK payroll, resolve/escalate issues, input pension contributions and administer salary, benefits and rewards

Profile:

  • Must have a driving license
  • Need to have 2 years’ experience in a HR role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Beneficial to have Commenced CIPD qualification / CIPD qualification or HR Degree
