Reed Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive School on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN) in an inclusive and nurturing educational environment.
Day to day of the role:
- Provide one-to-one support for individual students with SEN, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning plans to facilitate students’ progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the learning and well-being of all students.
- Collaborate with other staff members and external professionals to meet the diverse needs of our students and contribute to their holistic development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, empathetic approach, and a commitment to promoting inclusion and equality.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and external professionals.
- A proactive and collaborative team player who is eager to contribute to the school community.
