Description
The key responsibilities for the Accounts Payable role:
- Processing a high-volume of purchase ledger invoices
- Seeking approval for the invoices
- Dealing with any internal or external (supplier) queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Management of the Accounts Payable inbox
- Setting up new suppliers on the system
- Processing of staff expenses
- Preparation and processing of the weekly payment runs
Profile
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
