One of our reputable clients are currently recruiting for a permanent Deputy Care Manager for a brand new complex learning disabilities/autism supported living service in Hertfordshire.
Length: Permanent
Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours a week
The role involves:
- Overseeing the operational delivery and quality of a new complex learning disability service
- Offering high quality support to customers with complex needs, empowering people to live their best lives
- Providing direct line management, leadership, coaching and support to Support Workers, Specialist Support Workers and Night Support Workers
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements and financial obligations
- Making sure that support is delivered in compliance with CQC expectations
- Deputising for the Service Manager as and when required
Essential requirements:
- Relevant experience of working with clients with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour
- Understanding of PBS framework and implementation within services
- Knowledge of CQC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with previous line management experience
- The ideal candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic and motivated towards excellence and continuous improvement
